Upgrade Firmware WAP54G v.2 memakai DD-WRT

Awal dari ngoprek ini aq nanya sama B’ Alex Da Root tentang gimana ngeblock situs-situs tertentu dan P2P yang banyak makan Bandwidth, dengan semangat B’ Alex Da Root nyuruh aq ngambil selebar kertas lengkap dengan pulpennya maklum white board kami blom punya makanya cuma pake kertas dan pulpen doank biar enak ngejelisinnya.

Dia ( B’ Alex Da Root )menjelaskan tentang Router dan NAT serta perbedaan antara keduanya, kami menggunakan router Linksys WRT54G yang memakai firmware DD-WRT v23 SP3, setelah beberapa materi dia berikan kepadaku, langsung dia nanya ma aq karna dia lagi buka DD-WRT di wikipedia dan lagi baca-baca dia liat firmware Linksys WAP54G yang memakai DD-WRT micro, karna banyaknya WAP54G dirumah makanya aq coba upgrade firmwarenya, trus aq download firmware nya yang ada di http://DD-WRT.com aq langsung coba upgrade tapi terkena kendala karna gak bisa-bisa upgrade nya error terus, aq dan B’ Alex Da Root mencari tau kenapa gak bisa di upgrade di http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php akhirnya kami tau kalo harus diset dulu disini http://192.168.1.245/fw-conf.asp disable DownGrade Header terlebih dahulu baru firmwarenya bisa kita upgrade.

Setelah upgradenya berhasil ya berhasil ya aq lanjutin dengan coba membuat akses poin yang tunduk dibawah router WRT54G. kalo ada yang punya Linksys WAP54G silahkan coba kalo gak bisa silahkan tanya disini aja sapa tau aq bisa bantu…..!!!
